COVID-19 Information to Passengers

To our valued passengers,

Brisbane Bus Lines’ commitment is to provide safe travel as a priority, along with ensuring the wellbeing of all our passengers and team.

As the COVID-19 situation progresses, BBL are following our infectious disease control / pandemic action plan in line with our Incident Management Plan.  This involves our team implementing the following safeguards:

  • increased interior vehicle cleaning covering high-use surfaces such as hand grips, ipads, driver controls with antibacterial wipes;
  • increased vehicle air-conditioning checks, filter cleans and sterilising the systems;
  • monitoring official sources of advice such as the Federal Department of Health and Queensland Health websites;
  • regular contact with the School Transport division of Translink;
  • providing hand sanitising stations in our workplace;
  • promoting good personal hygiene, respiratory hygiene and social distancing measures across our workplace;
  • regular team communications to keep our team up-to-date

Public Transport is an essential service to our community.  Until advised by an official government body, we wish to reassure our passengers that our school services are continuing as normal.

To assist with our passengers & teams wellbeing we ask for our passenger’s assistance in the following ways:

  • if you are feeling unwell or showing any symptoms of a cold that you please refrain from travelling
  • thoroughly wash your hands (or use alcohol-based sanitizer), avoid touching your face and unnecessary touching of other people while on board

We thank you for your understanding and together we can make a difference.
