Due to unforeseen circumstances affecting our operational capacity, the following services are affected this afternoon, Thursday 14th August 2025.
School Bus 58 & School Bus 11 will be combined.
- Please be advised that due to operational constraints, this afternoon we will be running a single bus that covers both the School Bus 58 and School Bus 11 services.
- This will mean a late running of the service from Patricks Road State School through to Bunya this afternoon.
- The service will begin as School Bus 58 and pick up students at the regular times at Mitchelton State High School, St Williams, Grovely State School, and Ferny Hills State School.
- After that, the bus will change the number displayed to School Bus 11 and divert to collect students from St Andrews, Ferny Grove State School, and Ferny Grove High School, and Ferny Grove Station – the bus number change will avoid student confusion at these school bus stops.
- After departing Ferny Grove Station, the service will then revert its display back to School Bus 58 and collect students from Patricks Road State School, approx. 15 minutes later than normal.
- All students will therefore arrive home slightly later than normal this afternoon.
- For parents and students tracking this service via the TransportMe app – the service will remain as School Bus 58 throughout this afternoon.
School Bus 77
- This service will operate as normal from BT Gaythorne RSL 33 (Mt Maria Mitchelton), Mitchelton State High School and through to Tramway Street.
- This bus will then become School Bus 15 from Tramway Street (to Samford, Wights Mountain and Highvale as per normal timetable)
- Any passengers who would normally board School Bus 77 to Woods Road and beyond will need to board School Bus 17 from Tramway Street onwards (this includes students as Ferny Grove SHS & Ferny Grove Railway Station).
